Recently, our students participated in the “Matri Shakti Abhinandan Samaroh”, a vibrant event organized by BDO Tanmay Kanwar (Kunihar Block) at Ambedkar Bhawan, Arki (Solan) on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to womanhood, aimed at honoring and empowering women in our community.
The event beautifully reflected the essence of Himachali culture, featuring traditional dance, Nati, and homemade delicacies prepared by local women. It was a true celebration of strength, tradition, and talent.
We are especially proud of Varsha and Shaili Mokta, students from the LR Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, who delivered a powerful presentation on “Parampara of Nutrition.” Their session emphasized the importance of traditional foods in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle — a message deeply rooted in our heritage and highly relevant today.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Sh. Sanjay Awasthi (MLA, Arki) and Dr. Rachna Gupta (Former Member, H.P. Public Service Commission & Senior Journalist), adding further inspiration to the occasion.
