“High on Life, Not on Drugs” – Youth Awareness Program on Drug Deaddiction

On 5th April 2025, LR Institute of Pharmacy, under the banner of LR Group of Institutes, proudly launched the “High on Life, Not on Drugs” campaign—a powerful youth awareness initiative aimed at combating drug addiction and promoting a healthier, drug-free lifestyle. The event took place at Solan’s bustling Mall Road and drew the attention of locals, students, and concerned citizens alike.

The highlight of the event was a thought-provoking and impactful Nukkad Natak (street play) performed by the talented students of LR Institute of Pharmacy. Through expressive storytelling and live performance, the students conveyed a strong message about the dangers of drug abuse, its impact on youth and families, and the importance of making positive life choices.

This initiative was conceptualized under the visionary leadership of Ms. Shachi Singh, Director of LR Group of Institutes, and driven passionately by the LR Institute of Pharmacy. The campaign was led by Assoc. Prof. Vivek Kumar (Project Coordinator) and Asst. Prof. Harsh Kumar Chauhan (Co-Coordinator), with the unwavering support of Dr. Avneet Gupta, Principal, LR Institute of Pharmacy.

The event served as a platform to engage the public, spark conversations, and inspire collective action against drug deaddiction. It reinforced the message that awareness, education, and community involvement are key tools in breaking the cycle of addiction.

The LR Group of Institutes remains committed to social responsibility and student-led initiatives that make a meaningful impact on society. We thank everyone who joined us and lent their voice to this noble cause. Together, let’s continue to stand for health, hope, and a drug-free future.
