Ms. Shachi Singh, a renowned educationist, social worker, and development professional with national and international recognition. With more than 25 years of experience in education, child development, life skills education and youth development, Shachi has made a profound impact on the lives of thousands of children and families. Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda since early childhood her purpose and journey has been of service to society and spiritual enhancement.
She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree with specialization in Child Development from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Lucknow University.
She is an alumnus of the prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program by the US Embassy. With a keen interest in research, she has conducted studies and training with esteemed organizations like UNICEF and UNODC. Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as The Better India, Femina, and Wonderful Woman, and she has been invited to speak at platforms like TedX and Josh Talks. She is a member of several state and National committees
She is a recipient of prestigious awards such as the National Award for Child Welfare from the President of India, Lifetime Achievement – Young Achiever Award from NAPSWI (National Association of Professional Social Worker), Lucknow University Illustrious Alumni Award, The Devi Award from Indian Express, The Amazing Indian Award from Times Now and The HT Women Achiever Award.
